Empirical Strategies part II
J. Angrist (MIT)
June 14th - June 16th, 2010
The advanced course in “Empirical Strategies, part II” offers continuing covering of the core econometric ideas and widely used empirical modeling strategies discussed in the book Mostly Harmless Econometrics (MHE) by J.D. Angrist and S. Pischke. As in Part I, the main empirical ideas are illustrated with examples. The outline is keyed to the MHE table of contents and mostly follows the second half of the book.
“Empirical Strategies, part II” is a completely NEW course, which is being offered for the first time. CEIS and the University of “Tor Vergata” are especially proud of hosting this course, organized in the context of the LABOUR Lectures' series 2010.
Having attended “Empirical Strategies, part I” is not a prerequisite for this course.
In this website you will find information on the contents of the course and important deadlines (see the “Application” section), as well as practical details.
