Il gruppo di ricerca dell’Economic Evaluation and HTA (EEHTA) del CEIS ha stimato per la prima volta in Italia il costo sostenuto dal Sistema Sanitario Nazionale per la gestione ed il trattamento del Carcinoma cutaneo a cellule squamose (cSCC) in fase avanzata.

Lo studio ha considerato tutte le informazioni disponibili in letteratura per quantificare la malattia sia in termini epidemiologici che di costi diretti sanitari.

The OECD has partnered with the Schaeffer Center and the Centre for Economic and International Studies (CEIS), University of Tor Vergata to develop a pilot Global Future Elderly Model (Global FEM).

The starting point is the US Future Elderly Model or FEM. FEM is microsimulation model that is developed and maintained by the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics at the University of Southern California.
