The Research Activities focus on the challenges of European economic integration, globalization processes and economic growth. The centre engages in empirical and theoretical analysis of economic policy issues giving special emphasis to international interdependencies between business cycles of regional areas and to the importance of rules and institutions in economic growth. The centre gives top priority to the development of methodologies and tools for the quantitative analysis of economic phenomena and policies.
