Prerequisites

Candidates are required to possess the following requisites:

- Italian university degree (obtained at the latest by autumn 2013) or an equivalent degree from a foreign university. The administrative board of the course will assess the value of foreign degrees.

- A strong interest and high motivation in studying development and cooperation issues.

- Good knowledge of English attested by a written certificate. In the absence of the latter the candidate will be requested to sit an oral and written test.

The first module of the programme provides an introduction and extension of basic concepts in microeconomics and macroeconomics, which aims both to provide a basic training for students who don't have an academic background in these subjects and to consolidate the understanding of students who do. Students without an economic/mathematic background should be aware of the fact that the study of these subjects will imply relevant additional efforts from their side.

The maximum number of participants is limited to 40 students. Concurrent enrollment of candidates in other university-level courses is not permitted.
